Persis Biryani & Indian Grill

We came to this spot for a meeting. we heard about this spot from quite a few people. Well, we were not disappointed. The crew welcomed us with a smile and we felt good. The food was just great. We loved this spot a lot and we will visit this place again. we highly recommend this place.

Not up to the mark as how it was earlier. Veg Biryani was somewhat tasteless with recent order & however the naan & kadai paneer are really good.Update: Restaurant called, apologized & offered they would make biryani fresh again. 1 star up & appreciating that.

We had a party with approx 25 people yesterday in Persis. Food and service was excellent. They even reached out to us an hour before to get the starter orders so that we get the food as soon as we arrive. Mahesh attended to everyone’s request and his service was 5 star.

I just found this place this semester, and I am in love with their food. I have tried every chicken dish on their menu, and my biggest take away is that every dish has unique taste, unlike most places where chicken dishes tastes the same. Now I come here at least once a week. I would strongly recommend this place. P.S. My favorite dish is chicken Hyderabadi.

I would have given 0 stars if possible. They have poor management. While picking pickup my order, staff asked for money though it was already paid online and kept me waiting for 10 minutes for verification. Also, food was terrible. Their curries are worst. If you can’t make decent curries, why are keeping in your menu!!!!????

Absolutely loved their babycorn chilli, shrimp 65, and the butter chicken.. the naans were so soft and fresh out of the tandoor. Chicken dum biriyani was good too. Overall superb experience.

Really good food. Nominal cost. Ample parking space. Offers vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. Biriyanis are too good here. Other favorite dish is Mushroom Pepper fry. Prepares the food according to your spice requirements. Very kind and helpful staff. Food is delivered fast. Minimal wait time.

Persis food quality got compromised these days.Ordered bonless biriyani and egg less biriyani.Missing masala and rice is so hard. If you are out of something don’t reduce the quality just say out of it. I under you guys are doing hard even covid days better but sell quality biriyani Disappointed biriyani lover.Seriously they have compromised. This is not just first time. This definitely leads to bad review and deserves this feedback now.

Hoping Your Mutton in the Biryani would be improved. Its good most of the time.

Service was unbelievably slow. Long wait to get a table, even though there is no one else waiting. They didn't fill up the water the entire meal and they never once checked on how the food was. The food did come out fairly quickly, but that brings me to my next point.The food was lukewarm and in some parts almost cold so it was obviously just reheated, probably in a microwave based on the cold spots. The chicken was very hard, so probably reheated multiple times or just severely overcooked the first time.The positives were that the sauce did have a nice flavour to it but the coldness and harness of the chicken was a turn-off.The service was really the worst. I would have sent the food back to get reheated but there is no servers to be seen for the entire time I was eating. I would never recommend this place based on the terrible service and the lack of fresh food.

This place is great!!! I eat here once or twice a week now and the staff has gotten to know me. They are so friendly and have suggested to me new things to try and they have all been so good.

Indian food very delicious Doesn’t look fancy but the food is the best worth every penny

Best restaurant I’ve eaten at, I come here every Friday. They have a great variety of dishes. My favorite personally is the chicken vindaloo, but not by a lot because all the chicken dishes taste amazing.

I ordered from DoorDash, and we all know those orders can be rough. So I wasn’t expecting much but WOW!! This place is excellent. That order was so fast, and it came out fresh, with a large portion. Super tasty. Still hot. And they didn’t forget the desert, which most places do. I had to call and say thanks for a great service. 5/5 definitely going back.

As a elite yelper I think 100 times before I give a bad rating to a business, sometimes I cannot go with sympathy. We placed a togo order at 7:00 pm, its 8:37 right now. Everyone who came before us left. On the phone they kept telling 15 mins or 20 minutes. Our order too close to 2 hours no joke. We just ordered one order of chicken biryani. After 90 minutes they come and tell us there is no boneless chicken anymore. Did you freeze it before 2 hours for tomorrow? Why dint you know this 30 minutes ago when u told us 30 minutes. This is completely scammed. We wanted to get home before the 8:00 pm curfew. Food might be good but would never comeback because the MANAGER HAD ATTITUDE.After we went in we waited for 30 mins extra. This is no joke . Food is not the problem. Damn communication

Definitely a 5 star experience with this place. We tried couple of veg and non veg appetizers and they were really good with taste. If you are looking out for an authentic biryani place in and around Piscataway this has to be your go to place.Special thanks to our server Mr Keshav for his hospitality which was kind, humble and a courteous gesture!!!

We were here for dining tonight... excellent food, nice service.. we all 15 people agreed to above review.. we will keep visiting again and again .. highly recommended... being vegetarian we would suggest Persis to add grill vegetables dish ..just like grilled paneer. Thank you.

Worst Biryani ever.. don't order anything from this restaurant!!! Change name to colored rice.

Very very good food... The best spicy Goat Sukha i have ever had. Staff is very friendly and food is super delicious. If you are around edison area, this is a must place you should eat.
